The popularity of article writing and exchange has emerged as a convenient way for people to promote and get fresh content for their sites. Search engines want fresh and creative article content because the people who use their search engines demand it. It’s no secret that search engines look upon the internet as a source of written material just as people that use the internet consider it to be a huge, free information database. Unique content simply means content that is not duplicated and search engines are looking for this material therefore articles that are rewritten become unique as far as they are concerned.

You may wish to write completely fresh, unique content articles in which case there are certain points you need to remember. By carrying out some research first either online or current magazines etc, it will ensure the article is up to date even if it’s a topic you know something about. Setting the article out correctly is paramount otherwise it will not flow so you will need the subject introduction which may highlight a particular problem, then a middle section explaining the subject more with a conclusion. The structure is important but so is the length with most articles around four to five hundred words with the conclusion about four sentences or so to summarize. To make the article more enjoyable to read, break it up into a few chunks or paragraphs, about four is ok and ad a box at the end with your information and links so you will get the credit for the work.

It’s the first article that can be difficult to write so how do you start? Article ideas can easily come from real life, for example, if you have a long and happy marriage, then write articles which help people with their relationships. If you would prefer not to write about your experiences, which would be a real waste, then why not write about smaller niche markets which can open up all manner of possibilities.

Good writing techniques often win the day because many articles have been saved because of the way they have been written and not by the subject matter. Writing on a daily basis will help achieve this because you will come across the same problems faced by every other regular article writer but it will help you to improve. They say practice makes perfect and this is perfectly true with article writing and not only that but it becomes easier. These are obviously only my guidelines and have worked for me and may not suit everyone but it’s important to remember that whatever method works for you, stick to them if you intend to write articles regularly.
